Leading without Limits

20 March 2018

Leading without Limits is a development programme created by UCL Institute of Education in partnership with Rosendale Research School.  The programme will explore key strategic areas of school organisation and pedagogy where practice is often at variance to what the research evidence tells us can improve outcomes.

This course, for school leaders, addresses head-on some of the most persistent and problematic structures and processes, which are known to disproportionately impact the learning and experiences of disadvantaged pupils. It may challenge some long-held assumptions about ‘what works’ in schools and classrooms.

Each session features a keynote from a leading expert on a specific area of research and practice, and is followed by discussion and critical reflection activities. Leading without Limits aims to equip school leaders with the research knowledge and confidence to support whole school decision-making and classroom practice.

As part of the programme, participants will be invited to write a short reflective article for publication. Places on the programme are strictly limited, and are by application only.
